I've reworked this poem:
Prevail
Easily across the land, the city, You walk, as if in the air, floating. Carrying your secret burden;
What looks like a good world, Is also something unknown, dangerous. Still you, young and so conspicuous, Are hidden deep beneath the skin as well.
The pain has never been released; memory Reminds you how fortunate you are. Years of hurt, and fear that has been frozen, leaves a scar. But now, as if by a miracle, you are here,
Carrying on.
